Steve Northup

Steve has been a working photographer for more than 40 years. Growing up in New Mexico, he started newspaper work while still in high school. He went on to staff photographer positions with United Press International, (San Francisco, Miami and Saigon Bureaux), The Washington Post and Time magazine.

He covered the Vietnam war in 1965 and 1966. He was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, and his latest book, Naga Cities of the Mekong, was done with Professor Martin Stuart-Fox.

Steve is a Trustee of the IMMF, and this is his second workshop for them.
