About: James Caccavo
James Caccavo is an experienced teacher, photographer and writer who has not only won numerous awards and recognition for his photography, but for his humanitarian efforts as well. Published worldwide in advertising and editorial fields, his clients include: Time/Life, Newsweek, Asia Inc., Asian Economic Review, Los Angeles Times, The New York Times. Jim was the Red Cross photographer for the Vietnam/ American War where he also later worked on assignment for Newsweek magazine. His documentary work for the Red Cross is in the Nation al Archives of the Library of Congress and his work from the Requiem Exhibit is in the permanent collection at the Eastman House, Rochester, NY.
