His photographs are held in collections at various prestigious museums and trusts. Tim is a recipient of the Robert Capa Award, Olivier Ribbot Award, George Polk Award, Overseas Press Club Award, American Society of Media Photographers Award, and others. While making a documentary of his search for Sean Flynn (son of Errol) and Dana Stone, Tim developed his idea of a memorial for all the photographers who died covering the conflict in Indochina. Working with Horst Faas they produced the book ‘Requiem’. They were both awarded ‘Cultural Hero of the Revolution’ medals. Tim lives in Brisbane, is an adjunct professor at Griffith University and recently travelled to Timor to cover the trouble there.
