Her photographs are published as a book entitled “A Prime Passage.” She has a BA (Hons) in Applied Photography, Film and Television from Middlesex University, and an MA in Photography at the Royal College of Art. She is an associate member of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS).

She currently lives in Liverpool and photography is her passion and career. She became a trustee for the IMMF in 2010, keen to share her experience, skills and interest in diverse cultural contexts.

She is now happy to discover the larger world and in doing so, she was lucky enough to become associated with the IMMF and the work being done with the professional photographers of Vietnam.

She visits Southeast Asia regularly and has the opportunity to meet emerging talent of the area and follow their progress. In this creative atmosphere the work done by the Foundation has provided a strong support system to develop the standards of the industry and encourage their development. Martha is a trustee of the IMMF.

Special field: Portraiture of personalities and leaders in business and industry, politics and administration.

After being stringer with the AP in Frankfurt, she became the german photocorrespondant for the french photo agency GAMMA. She joined the staff photographers of Reuters in Berlin and Bonn in 1985 and was the first accredited photo correspondent for REUTERS in former East Germany.
